Composer Keith Thompson's most recent list of professional credits include musical director and conductor for the San Francisco and Las Vegas companies of Jersey Boys, for The Producers at Paris, Las Vegas, for Hairspray at the Luxor Theater  in Las Vegas and for the North American premiere of the hit musical, We Will Rock You, which ran at the Paris, Las Vegas.

Keith received the 2000 Dora Award for musical direction of the first national tour of Cabaret, and he supervised the music for the Australian production of Cabaret in Sydney. He also conducted the first national tour of Mamma Mia! His original comedy/novelty song revue Kooky Tunes has received wide critical acclaim in New York and Sydney.

The piece was written specifically for this event, the 2010 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner and Inaugural Hope Awards for the Democratic Party in Clark County, NV. Former Vice President Al Gore was the keynote speaker for the evening.
